STRASBOURG — Princess Caroline of Monaco has launched a fresh legal challenge against two German magazines for alleged breach of privacy, the European Court of Human Rights announced Monday.
The case centres on photos published between 2002 and 2004 by two German tabloid magazines: “Frau im Speigel” and “Frau Actuell.”

PARIS — The 2009 Tour de France will have a tough mountain stage on its penultimate day in a tradition-busting innovation that could complicate Lance Armstrong’s possible return.
The route, aimed at keeping suspense going to the very end of cycling’s 106-year-old showcase race, was unveiled Wednesday in Paris.
