The Marlborough Express – December 2, 2008 - by Dee Wilson

With a huff, a hiss and a toot on its whistle, off goes the little engine chugging round miniature tracks on Picton foreshore.

CONTRITE Prince William

Daily Mirror – November 10, 2008 – By Victoria Ward.

Prince regrets ‘taxi’ trips.

PRINCE William admitted yesterday he was wrong for using an RAF helicopter as his own private taxi service. William, 23, was supposed to be learning to fly a £10million Chinook aircraft.

He didn’t tell officers he used it to pick up his brother Prince Harry for a stag-do and again for a friend’s wedding.

Had his RAF commander known the “true nature” of the flights, he would have cancelled them, papers showed.

Clarence House said: “Prince William has admitted he was wrong. He accepts the sorties were naive and accepts his share of responsibility for what happened.”

The Daily Record – October 24, 2008.

AM I supposed to be impressed because our royal Chuckle Brothers, Wills and Harry, are having a jolly in Africa ?

But, silly me, of course it’s not a jolly. Goodness me, no. Their 1000-mile motorbike bash across the bush is for charitee, innit? The trek is expected to raise £100,000.

Sooper. Almost as much moolah as the pair spend on boozing, on an average month on cocktails in Boujis. The princes say they also wanted to spend some quality time alone. They never have a minute together these days because of their jobs. Jobs?

Not that the brothers are quite alone. A few of their rich chums have come along, yah, for the ride, as well as a full squad of Royal Protection Officers.

October 18, 2008

Daily Mail – October 18, 2008

By Amanda Platell
